Below is a list and description of some of the programs we will be using to help guide our learning this year.
Google Chromebooks
iPads
Google Documents
Google documents are Google's version of Microsoft Word. Google has created online ways to write papers, create slideshows (Google Slides), create graphs (Google Spreadsheets), and create online surveys (Google Forms). We will be using Google Documents and Google Slides in our class to practice our writing and create presentations. The wonderful thing about Google Documents is that it automatically saves the students work- no more "My dog ate it" excuses. Google Documents is connected to the students Google Drive account (Which is like an online filing cabinet- saving every document, or slide the student makes). Google Documents will help your child be organized with their work and will prepare them for their future jobs.
